Livade is a small town of about a hundred inhabitants, located in the heart of Istria, in the valley of the river Mirna, at the foot of Motovun. After the largest white truffle in the world was found in a nearby forest, the Livade became known as the center of experiences related to Istrian truffles. In Livade it is mostly quiet and peaceful except in autumn when this small and self-contained place is visited by more than 25,000 visitors of the Truffle days.
The property consists of a house located on building land (approx. 705 m2) and land located outside the construction area (approx. 1,375 m2). The house is located on the upper, northern part of the land and the southern part of the land descends all the way to the paved road. The external dimensions of the house are approximately 20 x 6 m.The stone house, which probably dates to the second half of the nineteenth century, was structurally renovated at the beginning of the century, but the adaptation was not professionally carried out, so the roof gave way due to heavy rains and the house is now half-destroyed.
