The town of Kanfanar lies in the south-western part of Istria, not far from Rovinj. A cultural heritage monument of zero category - the medieval town of Dvigrad, which is dominated by the remains of a Romanesque basilica – is located in the immediate vicinity. According to legend, Kanfanar was founded by former inhabitants of the medieval Dvigrad, fleeing attackers and the plague.
Kanfanar area offers various contents: bike trails, rock climbing and gastronomic delights in the renowned village households. The protected area of Lim Fjord, where you can taste the fish and shellfish from our own breeding, is also in the vicinity of Kanfanar. The town numbers approximately 500 residents, and the nearest beaches in Rovinj are about 20 km away.
