2 Bedrooms mountain house in the hart of the Triglav national park
This charming detached house is located in the central part of the Triglav National park. It lies on a plateau surrounded by woods above the river Soca, whose spring is just 5 km from away from the house and it can be used for drinking. House is immersed in the woods, and is ideal place to spend a refreshing and relaxing holiday. Sound of the river makes a beautiful sound curtain which can be heard even in the house.
On the ground floor there are kitchen, pantry and bathroom. On the attic there are two bedrooms. The larger one has three separate beds and a balcony, while the smaller one contains one double bed. House is in the first intended to be a holiday destination for people wishing to escape from the city rush, television and stress.

Parking place : car can be parked on the pasture above the house or in the centre 200 m away, where public light is installed
Arrival/departure: Minimal stay is seven days and arrivals/departures are allowed only on Saturday. On arrival day house is ready to accept the guest after 1500 hours (or before depending on the arrangement). Guests are asked to leave the house on the departure day until 10.00 hours in the morning.

House lies on a grass lawn surrounded by a pine wood just above the green river Soca. Nearest house is 100 m away. Car can be parked 2 min walking distance from the house.
Mountain village Trenta is located in the central part of the Triglav National Park (TNP), one of the oldest in the Alps, covers the Julian Alps range in the north-western corner of Slovenia, abutting the border with Italy and Austria.
The highest point of the park is the summit of Triglav (2864 m), after which the park was named, whilst the lowest point lies in the basins of the Tolminka river (180 m).
In the village there are a shop, a museum, a bus station, a church, a botanic park, a coffee house, a tavern, camping and a children playground.

Excursions: there are many natural beauties and remains from the first world war in the vicinity – no special physical condition is required for such a trips but always be careful – for longer walks we recommend spiked boots, warm clothes and wind jacket – more info about excursions can be found in the house and in the tourist centre.
Allowed sport activities in Trenta valley: sport fishing wih a permit –climbing – cycling on asphalted and macadam roads but not on pedestrian tracks – bike can be rented in Bovec

Supplies: 200 m from the house is a shop where food and basic supplies can be bought – larger offer in Bovec

Weather: from April to October weather is more humid than on the coast – summer: cold nights and strong sun in the noon – possible rapid changes in temperature - observe the weather forecast when planning a longer walk or excursion
Health: in summer use sun protection cream – protect yourself against ticks – take warm clothes – use good shoes to avoid injuries
Gastro offer: taste trout and jota (pronunciation: iota).
Swimming: Soca is cold even during the summer (8 °C) - near the house current is too strong – swimming is possible in Lepena 8 km down the river
